The series of applied workshops contributed to the flow of information, exchange of perspectives and the promotion of dialogue, enhancing the interest about the EU as a promoter of equality actor and will promote active citizenship. Their main objective was to establish a solid basis for a more efficient cooperation among academia, civil society and practitioners, facilitating the knowledge flow between the various actors of the European societies. Workshops were moderated by practitioners and policy advisors, sharing their expertise and experience, enabling participants to explore how to use intercultural dialogue as a tool for development of innovative work approaches between communities, countering stereotypes and prejudice and increasing advocacy on human rights protection, equality and diversity.
