
Stavros PiperidisJunior Researcher
Stavros Piperidis is a graduate student in International Relations at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. He completed his undergraduate studies in International and European Studies at the University of Macedonia. He has worked as an intern at the Permanent Representation of Greece to NATO, the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Greece, the Center for Democracy and Law Research, the UNESCO Youth Club of Thessaloniki, and Vouliwatch. Among other roles, he served as Spokesperson and Board Member of the Thessaloniki Municipal Youth Council in 2020.

Pavlos karagiannodimasJunior Researcher
Pavlos Karagiannodimas is an undergraduate student in Political Science and International Relations at the University of the Peloponnese, having received honorary distinctions for his academic performance.
He has extensive experience in Model United Nations (MUN) conferences as President of the UoP MUN Society and Deputy Secretary-General of RhodesMRC and ThessisMUN, earning multiple awards. Additionally, he is the producer and host of the “Podcast.IA,” where he discusses international relations and global affairs.
His research interests include non-formal education, social movements, and international relations. His interests extend to scouting, international organizations, and diplomacy, and he has actively participated in international seminars and humanitarian initiatives.

Thomas KaramanlisJunior Researcher
Thomas Karamanlis is a graduate of Anatolia College (IB) and a student at the University of Bath in the UK, studying Political Science and International Relations. Motivated from an early age by the issue of climate change, he founded a school club exploring the links between planned obsolescence and the four Sustainable Development Goals related to climate action. In 2019, he was invited by UNESCO Youth Thessaloniki to present the “Youth 2030” agenda and the SDGs within the EU’s DEAR program. In 2021, he represented Greece at Pre-COP26, Youth4Climate, participating in the Youth Driving Ambition group, which promoted youth involvement in decision-making to advance climate action and the Paris Agreement goals. The policies proposed were adopted by world leaders at COP26 and the Glasgow Climate Pact. In June 2023, he took part in the European Youth Conference at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, focusing on climate change and sustainable development. Thomas continues to work toward the adoption of green policies and greater youth participation in climate-related policymaking.

Eliza PervanidiJunior Researcher
Eliza Pervanidi is a graduate of the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a trainee lawyer. Due to her strong academic interest in International Law, International Politics, and Strategy, she has participated in numerous conferences and simulations of international organizations in Greece and abroad. She is a Founding and Honorary Member of the United Nations Society–AUTh, where she served as Project Manager during its founding year, its first President, and later as Model UN Director. She is particularly committed to issues concerning civil society, especially youth, women, and the elderly.

Ioakeim DelimitrouJunior Researcher
Ioakeim Delimitrou is a Political Scientist from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master’s student in European Youth, Entrepreneurship, Education, and Culture Policies at the University of Macedonia. He is actively involved in youth and civil society organizations, serving as Vice President and Project Manager of the UNESCO Youth Club of Thessaloniki and Secretary General of the Young European Federalists in Greece. He is also a founding member of the Thermi Youth Council and part of the EUSYP Think Tank research team, focusing academically on European youth policies.

Tomas KefalosJunior Researcher
Thomas Kefalos holds a Bachelor’s degree on International and European Studies from the University of Macedonia and he is currently enrolled in the Master’s degree of Human Rights and Multi-Level Governance at the University of Padua. Passionate about human rights and particularly committed to advancing LGBTQ+ rights, he has been the Head of the Advocacy Department at Thessaloniki Pride, member of the Vienna Pride Organizing Team, and the Head of the Human Rights Conference during EuroPride 2024.
